People were pushed and trampled. Sadly, a woman named Revathi died, and her son was seriously injured and is in the hospital.
The stampede happened because the crowd became too large and excited, causing chaos and injuries. This has raised concerns, and many are calling for stricter rules for such events.
In response, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, the cinematography minister of Telangana, decided that no more special movie shows, called "benefit shows," will be allowed. He is worried that these shows in crowded places could cause problems.
The minister expressed his sadness for the family. He suggested that the movie team should give 25 lakh rupees to help the family.
The police are looking into what happened. The Human Rights Commission has also received a complaint about the incident.
